“The Economics of Informality Conference 2018”


The conference will be the first organized by the “Network on Informality Studies” at Universidad del Rosario.

The objective is to bring together scholars, experts, young researchers, practitioners and policy makers to present their work and exchange knowledge, share research and debate the issues about informal economy. Both empirical and theoretical papers are welcome.


 

CALL FOR PAPER

The conference will focus on research papers selected following a call for papers. It will conclude each day with round tables bringing together policy-makers and researchers.

Each half day will begin with a keynote lecture given by a respected researcher in the field of informal economy.

Young researchers are particularly encouraged to apply. All papers submitted by the deadline will be reviewed.

There is no participation fee. Participants do have to cover the costs for travel and accommodation. Accommodation at reasonable prices will be proposed to participants.
