Knowledge Management and Innovation Center, Universidad del Rosario
The Knowledge Management and Innovation Center (KMIC or CGCI in Spanish) of Universidad del Rosario is an academic unit that carries out two functions. It coordinates and supports the research system of the University that is constituted by 34 research groups in various scientific fields.  Secondly, it promotes the dissemination of research results and facilitates the interaction between university research and innovation processes in the business sector or in the community. In doing so, it carries out action-oriented research and training courses on innovation and knowledge management issues.  In collaboration with like-minded groups in other Colombian universities as well as firms interested in innovation, it is currently developing a National Innovation Network aimed at sharing information and experiences on innovation strategies and practices.  The Universidad del Rosario was established in 1653, being one of the oldest universities in Colombia. (link con la página web de la Universidad).
Alianza Universidad-Empresa-Estado de Bogotá-Región
The Alianza Universidad-Empresa-Estado (AUEE) de Bogotá-Región is a network of stakeholders committed to the challenge of promoting innovation in this region of Colombia, as a key element required to promote competitiveness and socio-economic development. In doing so, it promotes university-industry-local government cooperation, in seeking to relate closely research to innovation. The stakeholders that participate in this initiative are the main universities of Bogotá, a group of companies interested on these topics and government agencies of the region and the city. The universities include: Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito, Universidad del Rosario, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Universidad de la Sabana, Universidad de Jorge Tadeo Lozano, Universidad de La Salle, Politécnico Grancolombiano, Universidad Sergio Arboleda, Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas y Ambientales, Universidad Antonio Nariño, Universidad de Los Andes, Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, Universidad Central, Universidad San Buenaventura, and Universidad Minuto de Dios. In addition, more than a hundred companies of the region, that are committed to promoting technological change and innovation in their respective sectors, participate in this Alliance. The AUEE works in close collaboration with other similar alliances that exist in various regions of Colombia.
The IC2 Institute of the University of Texas at Austin
As an interdisciplinary research unit of The University of Texas at Austin, the IC² Institute has advanced the Theory and Practice of Entrepreneurial Wealth Creation.  The theories and hypotheses developed at IC² are tested in life-scale through several world-recognized programs: the Austin Technology Incubator, one of the world's most prominent business incubators, the Bureau of Business Research, to provide Texas leaders with research data to strengthen the state’s economy, and the Global Commercialization Group, to catalyze emerging knowledge-based economies throughout the world. Supporting these programs is a proactive staff, the alumni of ATI, as well as a network of about 160 active Global Fellows who extend the talent reach of the institute at home and abroad. Eighteen of these are Endowed Fellows: professors at The University of Texas at Austin whose research is supplemented by the IC² Institute in order to directly support the creation of new knowledge.
