Workshop on Choice-Process Data in Experimental Economics
(Thursday October 18th, 2018)
Update: The Conference program is out. You can always find the most up to date version
here
What are choice-process data? Choice outcomes are not the only data generated from a decision. Decision makers move their eyes around to collect information, take time to consider their options, and use their hands to make a selection. With recent technological and methodological advances, process measures such as response times, eye tracking, and mouse tracking are becoming easily accessible. The question is what can we learn from them?
This workshop aims to expose experimental economists to exciting new research that uses process data to shed light on fundamental questions.
Registration is free for participants in the ESA NA Conference and can be done through the ESA registration page.
Invited experts:
Giorgio Coricelli (University of Southern California),
Nicolette Sullivan (Duke University), and
Eric J. Johnson (Columbia University).
In addition to talks by invited experts, the workshop will feature a small number of submitted talks.
Papers can be submitted through the ESA submission system, with the same deadline as the main conference.
The NSF-funded workshop is being organized by Ian Krajbich (The Ohio State University) and Charles Noussair (University of Arizona). Please contact Ian (
