Services for Professors
This service is an opportunity to reflect upon your practice in the classroom through educational support, in which you can check one of the courses you oversee or another aspect of particular interest to you. As a result of this process, the aim is to analyze a course, adapt a methodological design (activities and evaluation) and reflect upon teaching practice. The support methodology adheres to a constructivist and communicative teaching model that prioritizes reflective, formative dialogue that enables your teaching practice to be enriched. Some of the questions that guide this process revolve around: how do students learn in the discipline? How is it taught? What do students have to do to learn? What should students be capable of doing once they finish the course? (Meaning, what are the expected learning results?) What is the best way of demonstrating the attainment of this knowledge? Asking yourself these and other questions helps to strengthen teaching practices and, coupled with action, becomes a contribution to the excellence of the professorial body.
